Mothers (Day)

I asked her as we walked together through the light of a summer's evening why she had such devotion to the ‘Mother of God’, she did not reply for some time, as she was then quite old, I thought she may have not heard and was about to ask the question again when she turned and gazing upon me said,

“No good father or honourable son can ever refuse a true request of the Mother."
