Numinous

The ‘approach’ to the sacred, the numinous, the unnameable is through the unknown. To honour this dimension allows for healing which by its compassion does not exclude death, for this too is in the process. Jung indicated, “The approach to the numinous is the real therapy and insomuch as you attain to the numinous experences you are released from the curse of pathology. Even the very disease takes on a numinous character.”
